10/9/10 - Our first litter!

Wow, what an experience it was to witness our first litter. Last night Maya gave birth to (5) healthy American Bulldog pups. We have waited patiently over the last 2 years to find Gunner a suitable mate, and wouldn’t be happier with this pairing.

There were no birth/labor complications and all pups were delivered naturally over a 7hr period. See more pics here: Gunner x Maya

OFA and Penn-Hip testing in Honolulu

Found a place that is charging an acceptable amount on OFA testing. I’m looking forward to finally getting Gunner tested so we can move forward with some of the breeding opportunities we’ve gotten. Animal Clinic in Kaimuki can do the OFA test for under $300!

I called the pet clinic in Manoa and the Penn-Hip would’ve been over $1400!
