Got interested in American Bulldog’s when I was just a kid. Though I grew up with only Akita’s, I saw an AB called “Sandman The Great” in a fighting dogs book and fell in love with the breed (if only in a superficial sense). After finally getting into the breed as an adult, I realized that there was so much more to the breed than just the looks. I have an affinity to their temperament, strength, loyalty, and good looks. I feel there is a lot I could do to further the breed and decided to start The Heavy Duty Dog Company. I hope to do my part to perpetuate the various bully breeds in a positive light and both educate and learn from other bully breed owners on how to become a better partner to my dogs.
